I provide a safe, supportive and compassionate environment for you to explore your concerns and challenges.
Training and Professional Accreditations:
My clinical expertise lies in trauma, specifically developmental and attachment trauma. I offer an integrative approach which utilizes current neuro-developmental and relational science with somatic practices to support your healing journey. At the heart of my practice is Polyvagal Theory—the understanding that our autonomic nervous system is guiding us through life by continually assessing safety and danger. Our autonomic nervous system is the basis behind the stories of who we are, how the world works, our behaviors, emotions, and responses. This understanding offers clients a deeper sense of compassion and a hopeful and more forgiving explanation around their concerns and struggles.
I also provide parenting support, applying the same understanding of our neuro-developmental and relational science. By understanding our children’s physiology, parents gain a better understanding of the brain-body connection so they can support their children in ways that help them feel safe, seen and understood. My approach is compassionate and non-judgmental, with the goal of fostering safety, regulation, and connection with your child.
