Accepting new clients
I offer a relational, trauma-informed approach grounded in the belief that healing unfolds in its own time. My intention is to create a holding environment, a space of safety and attunement, where whatever needs to emerge can reveal itself. We move at your pace, making room for overwhelming emotions, numbness, confusion, and the wordless things that cannot yet be named.
I don’t offer quick fixes or prescriptive solutions. Instead, I stay alongside you, gently exploring the feelings and experiences that are asking for attention. Many clients tell me they value having someone who can bear witness to their darkest places without flinching or rushing them forward. There is something quietly transformative about being truly seen: when we can trun towards the parts of ourselves that have learned to hide, and find they are met with acceptance rather than judgement, something begins to shift.
My work draws on integrative, somatic, and existential approaches, meaning we’ll pay attention not just to your thoughts and stories, but to what your body holds and what matters most deeply to you.
Professional background including training.
I hold an MSc in Integrative Psychotherapy and a Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling. Before becoming a therapist I spent over 20 years working in technology and leadership positions and also hold a BSc in Information Systems and a Diploma in Computing.
I work with clients experiencing a wide range of life challenges, including bereavement and loss, trauma and post-traumatic stress (PTSD), relationship difficulties, loneliness and isolation, stress, anxiety, panic attacks, and depression. I also support people who may be struggling with addiction, shame, low self-esteem, anger, identity concerns, or a sense of boredom or lack of meaning in their lives.
My aim is to offer a safe, supportive space where clients can explore their experiences, develop greater self-understanding, and move towards meaningful change.
I am a relational integrative therapist. Through both my training and experience, I have come to believe that regardless of the therapeutic approach, healing happens through improving our relationship with ourselves and with others.
