Accepting new clients
As a dramatherapist, I am interested in the story of YOU; what makes you feel, think and dream. This also means I want to hear about the sad parts of your story, and help you make sense of them so that you can grow into the version of yourself you wish to be. My training is grounded in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy and informed by the Internal Family System approach which looks at your intrapsychic realm to better understand yourself.
HCPC Registered Dramatherapist.

I provide support for a range of difficulties and specialise in working with complex trauma including identity, depression, anxiety and high levels of stress.
I use compassion focused creative therapy in my practice to find alternative ways of processing complex emotional states. I work in a person centred psychodynamic way, meaning that I am able to sit with the unknown and uncomfortable feelings with my clients. I may use stories, objects, art materials, and play together to understand the client’s internal world and how they can begin to flourish in themselves. The play and metaphors become a container for what spoken words may not fully describe.
Sessions are completely client-led and clients can decide which, if any, creative form is used in the space.
