Accepting new clients
I enjoy supporting people to gain a greater understanding of themselves, their relationships and their situation to create a more satisfying life. Whether you’re navigating specific challenges or pursuing your desire for personal growth and development, I work with you to reach your goals.
I’m an experienced Psychotherapist dedicated to supporting individuals from diverse backgrounds and cultures. As a registered member of the UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) and the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), I am committed to upholding the highest standards in my practice. I hold a Master’s degree (MSc) in Gestalt Psychotherapy.
Prior to my psychotherapy training, I spent 20 years working in the business world. I’m familiar with the demands a stressful work environment can place on our professional and personal lives and I bring this understanding to bear in my practice. As a dual British and American citizen and having lived in other parts of Europe, I enjoy connecting with people from all walks of life.
I know reaching out for support can feel overwhelming which is why I offer a free 30 minute introductory consultation to explore working together. Prioritising the therapeutic relationship is at the heart of my practice and it’s important that you feel comfortable working with me.
I trained in Gestalt Psychotherapy which is a holistic and relational approach.
We can often get stuck in fixed patterns and beliefs about ourselves and our past gets played out in the present. I support clients to cultivate insight into how past experiences shape their current life and relationships. Together, we work to understand and find new ways of relating, both to yourself and others, and live more fully in the present moment.
Whether you’re navigating relationship challenges, traumatic experiences or simply seeking a deeper connection to yourself, my goal is to help you become more present in your life and empowered in your choices. I am interested in the ‘whole’ of a person and the connection between thoughts, feelings and physical sensations. Sessions with me involve curiosity, compassion, and a safe, non-judgmental space for self-exploration. We may use creative techniques such as guided imagery, body awareness, or role-play to deepen the experience and allow you to process emotions in a way that feels grounded and healing.
My work is trauma-informed and I also interested in Somatic Experiencing (SE) and attachment theory.
