You’ve spent so much of your life keeping everyone else happy that you’ve forgotten what you need yourself.
I’m a psychotherapist working with individuals and couples who want to understand themselves more deeply and build relationships that genuinely work.
Before training as a psychotherapist, I spent ten years working in television with organisations including the BBC, ITV and Endemol, which gave me a real feel for the pressures of demanding careers and the expectations we quietly place on ourselves. Whatever someone’s background, I’ve found that the struggles people bring are remarkably similar — and my belief, underneath all of it, is that we’re hurt in relationship, so we heal in relationship.
Insight on its own rarely changes much; feeling truly seen and safe enough to be honest does.
You look fine. You are not fine.
Perhaps you keep everyone else going — you’re the dependable one, the one people turn to, the one who copes. But underneath it you’re exhausted: overthinking conversations, struggling to say no, worrying you’re letting people down, or watching the same relationship pattern play out again and again.
You might be finding it difficult to set boundaries, battling anxiety or self-doubt, or feeling disconnected from yourself or those closest to you.
If you’re in a relationship, that might look like having the same argument on repeat, living more like housemates than partners, or wondering how two people who love each other ended up feeling this disconnected. Somewhere along the way, you’ve lost confidence in your own voice — and these are the patterns I help people work through.
I don’t believe in quick fixes or telling people what they should do. My role isn’t to judge the choices you’ve made, but to help you understand the patterns you’ve developed — where they came from, why they made sense at one time, and whether they’re still serving you now — so you can make choices that are right for you.
Together, we work towards healthier ways of relating that feel more authentic and lasting. My aim is to provide a warm, thoughtful and honest space where you feel understood, challenged when needed, and supported to create meaningful change — so you can stop simply coping and start living in a way that feels more honest, connected and true to who you are.
