Humanistic Counsellor specialising in neurodivergence and trauma
I am a qualified counsellor working in a relational and grounded way. My focus is on understanding how your experiences – including early relationships and environments – continue to influence how you relate to others, navigate the world and understand yourself. I pay close attention to patterns that develop over time, including long-term masking and protective strategies that once made sense but may now feel limiting. Alongside my clinical training, I bring 15 years of experience in the corporate world, giving me a realistic understanding of pressure, responsibility and high-functioning roles.
Professional background, including training
I trained in humanistic and integrative counselling and work across the therapeutic modalities of Person-Centred Therapy, Gestalt and Transactional Analysis. I am a registered member of the BACP and practise within its ethical framework.
I primarily work with neurodivergence and trauma, including the impact of long-term masking, relational difficulties and nervous system overwhelm. I also support clients experiencing anxiety, depression, illness (including cancer), relationship challenges and significant life transitions.
My work is relational and collaborative. I pay careful attention to your lived experience and to what unfolds over time, helping you understand the patterns shaping how you feel and relate. Alongside dialogue, I may integrate imagery, body awareness, mindfulness and other creative approaches where helpful.
