I am a Psychodynamic Psychotherapist specialising in relationships, anxiety and self-doubt.
I am fully qualified, accredited by the British Psychoanalytic Council and a Member of the BACP. I trained at the Tavistock & Portman NHS Foundation Trust and Tavistock Relationships, and have experience across NHS services and private practice.
Many of the people I work with are capable and high-functioning on the outside, but privately feel like an imposter, shaped by harsh self-criticism and a persistent sense of not being enough. My work focuses on understanding how earlier experiences and relationships shape these patterns and cause them to repeat and hold us back.
I work with adults experiencing relationship difficulties, family tensions, anxiety, low self-esteem and burnout. I have a particular interest in the longer-term impact of high-pressure or abusive upbringings of all types including boarding school.
I offer psychodynamic psychotherapy. This approach looks beneath the surface of current difficulties to understand their origins, helping to shift entrenched patterns and make different choices feel possible.
