Accepting new clients
I am an experienced psychotherapist based in Richmond. I work with adults across a broad range of mental health concerns and disagnoses. As well as my own practice I also take group therapy as part of the General Psychiatric team in a leading hospital , and teach trainee therapists about working with Addiction.
Prior to qualifying as a therapist I worked in Global Financial Services and have lived and worked across Asia, Australaisia, Africa and Europe.
I am an Accredited Member of the BACP and am regulated by their professional code and ethics.
My clients could be facing relationship issues, stress, anxiety and depression, addictions, disordered eating, loss, or simply find themselves feeling lost, lonely, disconnected and unfulfilled.
I am an Integrative therapist which means depending on the client and their issues I work with with a number of therapeutic approaches including attachment styles, humanistic, CBT and motivational approaches to meet clients where they are at and to support and help them to live their best lives.
Clients seek therapy to help them understand and cope with what they are going through, to bring about understanding and possibly change of some sort in how they view themselves, their lives, their relationships. Or they may simply want the opportunity to take time to process aspects of themselves or their lives. As well as providing support and space for you, therapy can also feel transformational. My approach is based on therapy being a relational, nuanced, and realistic process which helps clients live the best lives they can.
