Accepting new clients
I am a Transactional Analysis psychotherapist, supervisor, and trainer (PTSTA); a Relational and Integrative psychotherapist, supervisor, and trainer (CIIPTS–IIPA); a UKCP-registered psychotherapist; and a Medical Doctor.
My professional journey began in Brazil in 1989, where I worked as a Plastic Surgeon. Early in my medical career, I became increasingly curious about the connection between mind and body—particularly how psychological factors influence the development of physical illness. This led me to further training in Psychosomatic Medicine and Jungian Therapy, followed by a four-year training in Transactional Analysis.
In 2003, I moved to the UK and undertook a five-year training with Richard Erskine in Relationally-Focused and Developmentally-Based Integrative Psychotherapy. Since then, I have dedicated my practice to an integrative and relational approach, bringing together my medical background and psychotherapeutic training to support clients, supervisees and trainees with an in-depth relational work.
