Accepting new clients
I am a psychotherapeutic counsellor working with adult individuals in person and online. I hold a diploma in integrative transpersonal counselling, I’m registered with the BACP and follow their ethical guidelines.
Whatever brings you to therapy at this time, I offer a sensitive, reflective space to be heard, to explore and perhaps at times to be challenged – in order to see things differently so that change may become possible.
I work with clients bringing a broad range of concerns – from loss and bereavement, anxiety and depression to relationship issues, shame, identity, sexuality and more generalised feelings of stuckness or disquiet.
I have a particular interest in trauma and addiction. The impact of addiction in families and in the potentials of transitional times in life – quarter life, midlife and later life for example.
Integrative transpersonal
I draw on different therapeutic approaches as feels right with each client. I have a relational approach and will notice what happens in the room between us, what may be held in the body and will include ways of making conscious what may need to be felt from the past that is causing difficulty in the present.
We may also consider broader questions of meaning and creative ways of understanding experience to help you come to know yourself and what matters to you more deeply.
