I am a very experienced Clinical Psychologist (DClinPsy) and Chartered Psychologist (CPsychol) with over 15 years working in the NHS. I gained proficiency in treating patients with emotional and psychological difficulties whilst working in major hospitals and institutions in London; these include Imperial College NHS Trust, the Royal Brompton and Harefield NHS Trust and The National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery.
I believe information and understanding matter. I spend time helping people make sense of how the brain and mind work, and how thoughts, emotions, body sensations and behaviours interact. Awareness alone, however, is rarely enough, so I also focus on teaching practical skills that help people cope with difficulties and move forward in meaningful ways.
I support individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, anger and relationship difficulties, as well as those living with personality disorders, abuse, neglect or major life changes. I also work with people managing acute or chronic health conditions and the emotional toll these can bring.
Many people I see feel worn down by relentless self-criticism, intrusive thoughts or constant emotional discomfort. They may replay conversations, analyse decisions or search endlessly for reassurance, yet still feel stuck. My role is to help reduce the power these experiences have, so anxiety and low mood no longer run their lives.
I work collaboratively, helping people reconnect with their values and build a sense of choice and agency—even when their mind feels challenging or overwhelming. Together we set realistic, meaningful goals and develop skills to manage painful thoughts and feelings, improve sleep, handle stress and rebuild motivation.
When working with trauma, I gently explore how past experiences may still shape the present. In a safe and compassionate space, uncovering these imprints can allow healing, growth and renewed joy to emerge.
I take a holistic approach drawing from rigorous knowledge based on the science of behaviour, evolution and neuroscience, and guided by polyvagal theory, Narrative therapy, Cognitive behavioural theory (CBT), Acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), Compassion focused therapy, Dialectic behavioural therapy, Mindfulness and Trauma informed interventions.
