Hello, I’m Sarah, a qualified integrative counsellor and psychotherapist, career coach and trained supervisor, with experience supporting people across the NHS, charitable organisations and private practice.
At the heart of my work is a genuine belief in the resilience and uniqueness of every person I meet. I feel privileged to hold space for individuals as they navigate some of life’s most challenging moments. Whether that’s living with mental health conditions, neurodiversity, life-limiting conditions or facing a major life-change.
Alongside my therapeutic work, I provide career coaching and both individual and group supervision. I enjoy helping people reflect, grow and move forward with greater clarity and confidence in their personal lives or professional roles.
Above all, I strive to create a warm, safe and non-judgemental environment where you can feel heard, understood and empowered to make meaningful changes at your own pace.
ADHD, autism, OCD, bipolar disorder, neurodiversity, anxiety and attachment; bereavement and loss, depression, discrimination and oppression; loneliness and self-esteem, trauma and relationships; generational trauma, identity, culture and spirituality; career coaching, burnout/work-related stress, chronic illness and pain, divorce and separation.
I work in an integrative way which means I use different therapeutic methods such as person-centred, psychodynamic, trauma informed and evidence-based practice, to suit your unique concerns.
I hold a Master’s in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy and a Diploma in Supervision of Individuals and Groups.
Integrating person-centred with psychodynamic and other approaches will help to explore your learnt behaviours, judgements and attitudes formed in your upbringing and life. This will facilitate self-awareness and clarity about your thoughts, emotions and behaviours, so that you can find ways to manage difficult circumstances affecting your daily life.
I am competent and perceptive supporting carers of people affected by chronic and life changing illness as well as bereavement, separation, divorce, parenthood and other life adjustments. Sometimes our experiences can be overwhelming and isolating. I aim to offer a comfortable, safe, confidential space where you feel heard, understood and respected.
